Bridge Climb

Hi all,

Well sorry about my abrupt ending to the last blog but my money ran out and I wanted to post before it logged me off. Really great having netbook but when hotel wants to charge you 3 times as much for 1 hours internet connection as apposed to using foyer internet terminals it makes sense plus we haven't been anywhere where you can get free wifi access yet. Oh well rant over.

We had a chilled morning i.e. Lie In and then planned to go to Bondi Beach but was over ruled when it started to rain! If we had have gone it would be no different than being at Weston super Mud sitting on the prom while it chucks it down. We opted for a lovely breakfast at Darling Harbour, people watching with large fry up and a big brolly to stave off the shower.

After a wander around we got a taxi to the rock, ready for the bridge climb. prior to this we had a photo opportunity as we had a drink at a really posh restaurant on the waters edge dead opposite the Opera House. After which we headed for the Bridge.

We got suited and booted in very attractive jump suits and off we went. Steph found it hard going and struggled a bit but made it to the top and was very happy that she did it. It was awesome and I recommend it to anyone. Pictures are great and will try and upload if we can, also the fact we got them free but that's another story.

After the epic climb we met Deb and Paul for a well earned drink as Sydney descended into darkness. Really nice to see some friendly faces and chat about places to see and things to do. (Thanks for That and best of luck for the future.) After some good pub food it was time for bed and blog. So that's it for day 3 of the HOALT.

By the way the BATS here are huge!!! Pictures to come if we can catch them!!!

Night Night

Mick & Steph
