OK it's day 3 and our final full day before we have to pack up and jump on a plane to Uluru. We have all had good reports from various friends, family and Chris's tutor that the Zoo is not to be missed so that's the plan. The views are supposed to be spectacular looking back across the water to Sydney. Well we here we are at Circular Quay looking for our ferry boat to takes across the water to the Zoo. We didn't go on Charlotte but certainly one like it although we had to take a picture, having a best friend called Charlotte! The trip took about 15 mins enough time to for us all to eat our breakfast rolls and fruit we grabbed from the quay cafe before we docked the otherside of the water. We grabbed the safari cable car which whisked us over the top of the zoo, looking down on all the various animals in their enclosures.
Once we were in it was great, I could right pages about what we saw but I thought I would follow the old saying "A Picture Paints a Thousand Words" and later to be a BREAD song lyric.... but I digress so here we go with the cute and not so cuddly pics.
We will bore you to death with the rest of our Zoo pictures when we return! However I did say there was excellent views so here they are taken from the Zoo across the water.
And finally a picture on the ferry boat back after a great day.
