After a great lay in which was possibly down to beers and wine we eventually got up and decided to visit Melbourne city a see a few of the sights. Melbourne city center strangely was the same as Sydney (You've seen one, you seen them all!!!) with the exception of a few less skyscrapers.

Budgie dropped us off and we decided to jump on the free tourist bus which whizzs you round the main sites and we saw the MCG, Parliment and Treasury buildings but then due to the hot weather and number of people we had to get off, even though the air con was on. So we found a pub to to plan what we wanted to do and see... This was when Steph started to feel ill so we had to rethink things. So it was decided Steph and Ste would go to a local park and have a little lie down and me and Chris went for a wander.

Well our wander didn't turn up much other than expensive boutique shops and tat!!! So we decided to head back after a while to meet up at the pub again, Steph had had a power snooze and was ready to go so off we went. We caught a tram which would take us to Eureka Tower to look over the top of Melbourne, this didn't quite go according to plan as we had to change trams but due to shit direrctions fromn the tram driver we end up going back the way we had came, what a knob!!! So we decide to bail out of the tram and walk down to the South Bank of the River Yarraw to find a restaurant and eat.....
Whilst we were here Andrea & Budgie caught up with us and after we had eaten they showed us the amazing revenue maker for the city the Crown Casino, pretty fantastic it felt like being in Japan or China it was spot the white man....

After this we had a night tour of the town, managing to snap a few sights before we drove home for a few beers and pool.... Tomorrow we picked up the camper van and began the tour across the Great Coast Road to Adlelaide...
